Meet Annahita from Forever 88
Her and her hubby eloped January 1, 2010. They decided to have a wedding celebration a year later with their friends and family; December 31, 2010 in Lenox, MA.
The bride and groom decided on bright colors as a theme and as the groomsmen gift. Each of the guys got a pair of bright colored socks and a bright colored tie to wear with their black suits and chuck taylor converse shoes.
For the girls, Annahita picked out simple black strapless dresses from white house black market.
The bridesmaids each got a different color and got to pick out their own shoes.
The gifts for the bridesmaids was jewelry and a pair of VS PJ pants to match their shoes!
The bridesmaids, bride's mom and Annahita made their own stunning bouquets for the wedding!
The bride's something borrowed were earrings that one of the bridesmaids wore in her own wedding and a bracelet that belonged to her mother-in-law.
Her something old was a pocketknife that used to belong to her dad (it was in her pocket the whole wedding) and a vintage purse that belonged to her mom.

The brie wore blue shoes were as her something blue.
Her something new was going to be her dress - but then the night before the wedding before the rehearsal/rehearsal dinner, Danny surprised Annahita with an engagement ring (at their elopement a year earlier they had only exchanged wedding bands)... she was so surprised!
The groom's two brothers performed their ceremony via iPads
At the reception, the couple had goldfish [a symbol of good luck] and new years eve favors as the centerpieces and incorporated the bright colors with the napkins...
I just love the detail and all the bright colors. It really gives the feel that the bride and groom are two fabulously fun individuals who have a bright, beautiful and fun future ahead of them.
Thank you Annahita for sharing your beautiful and fun wedding celebration with us!

I'm a new follower & I love your sweet blog! ASJ's wedding was so presh w/ all of her color flourishes. PS- don't get down about the house situation. The same thing happened to us, but the house we wound up with definitely was worth the wait, frustration, and tears along the way!
