Bait a Hook

The Husband and I have spent a LOT of hours fishing over the past several months. 

 

We have chartered captains in South Florida, The Keys, and even ventured out on our own. 

    

Some days are obviously better than others, but there isn't much that beats being out on the water - especially when the weather is gorgeous.    

We don't ALWAYS catch fish - which makes us pout (some more than others!) but, you know what they say, a bad day fishing is better than a great day at work.  I don't know if I COMPLETELY agree with that saying =) BUT either way, spending time outside, in the sun, with my husband and family is always my favorite.

Red Snapper season is opening in July - definitely earlier than it was last year or even the year before that.  It is only open for a couple of weekends a year and this year, we managed to book a trip for each weekend.  I will also be experiencing my very first night trip.  I'm not sure if I'm excited or anxious about being out there at night.  I'll let you know how it goes!
