Oh Wednesdays - I Really Adore You

I love Wednesdays here in the blog-o-sphere.  It has become my favorite (sort of my only) day of blogging.  I really enjoy the WILW link up.

My mom told me a long time ago that she can tell when something is amiss.  I quit talking about that area of my life. When it was relationships, I would avoid the subject altogether...sometimes I just wouldn't call home for days. Then something would change and I would be back to right. 

Once she told me about this little habit, I have been very aware of it...you know the 'break-the-glass' metaphor? How I Met Your Mother dedicated an entire episode to this concept. Well it has come to my attention that in addition to not calling home or talking about the issue underneath, I have also avoided my happy little blog. That realization made me sad!! I have LOVED blogging and the entire blogging community.  Looking back, I kind of let it slip all of November and then I was better for a little bit...I think it was because of the holiday season. It always makes me so happy!

So here it is Wednesday - the day I look forward to posting.  I link-up and talk about all the things that I love.  It is anything from a new piece of jewelry to some candy I just had to my amazing husband and wonderful family.  It always makes me happy and puts me in a better place when I link-up. 

I thought about this over the weekend and Monday I started a new habit.  Whenever I can, I think about the things I am loving that day.  It has for the most part helped my mood outside of The Issue that I don't want to talk about. I am so happy that Jamie started this link-up and that I found it one December day back in 2010 =)

I'm Loving that I cut my bangs yesterday.  No seriously I LOVE it!

I'm Loving that we are halfway through the week

I'm Loving Grumpy Cat!  The Husband and I were looking at various pictures and really having a good laugh about them.  This one is SOOOO my husband. 

I'm laughing at this again! I can't help myself.

I'm loving that last week, I was able to run 12.6 miles throughout the week. The shoes and inserts I have are incredible.  I have felt absolutely NO discomfort since investing in them! I'm really blown away by this.  I think getting back into my routine of running and starting to see results already are helping push past things.

I'm Loving the amazing people in my life who support me and pick me up when I am down. I'm so blessed with amazing family. My extended is included in this - some of you have been especially supportive and loving recently.  You'll never know how much that means to me. Family - you are the absolute greatest!

I'm loving that today my sister and I were total twinsies!

We even wore the same colored pants today! I'm so blessed to have an awesome sister. I can't wait to shop with her again - that may have to be a recurring thing!!

I'm loving my husband. He works so hard for us - to give me everything I could ever want.

He does everything he can to give us the life we have and to reach the goals we have set for ourselves.  It isn't always easy - after nearly three years of marriage, we are still learning about one another, ourselves, and our relationship. I love every moment, all of them, the good, the silly, the serious, and the occasional fight.  There is no one else with whom I would rather fight.

That I will be running 9 miles this weekend! I'm so excited about that!! It will be the longest run in almost two years! woooo!!!  AND tonight we do our interval training; my mom and seeester do those with us =)

That Jackie will be back tomorrow at work! She arrives tonight and I can't wait to hear all about their trip =) 

Game 4 is on tonight at 7:30 - so you know where I'll be with some pizza and a beer =)

What I'm Loving Wednesday

Holy Crow! It is already Wednesday! Who's excited?! THIS GIRL! I'm linking up again this week for WILW =) Here we go!!!!!  I'm Loving...

How hard The Husband has been working.  He has started up his company again and is so much happier.  I even get to see him now!  Ok, ok, so it has ONLY been three days of working for himself BUT it has been successful already and he is for realsies SOOOOO much happier! I am so proud of him =) PLUS we have the WHOLE weekend together!

That it is candy corn season!!!! Hello Brach's Candy Corn!!!! Here is my dilemma this year...the packaging is completely different than in previous years and it says 'made with real honey'....i don't like the made with real honey or the new packaging.

I don't trust it =/  I guess I am going to have to bite the bullet if I want candy corn this year...

The first day of Autumn is Saturday September 22!!!! YAY!!! Too bad yesterday I wore short sleeves, capris and cute backless shoes...it is SO not Autumn weather here!

The Kennedy's are getting married in two and a half weeks!!! I have been hard at work helping them with planning/decorating/DIY-ing so I am excited to see it all come together...plus see them exchange vows =) OH and I went with her to see her dress and holy cow - she is going to be so so beautiful! I can't wait!!! OH ANNNNNDDD there is going to be a s'mores roasting station outside at the reception! how amazing is that?!

I get to buy a new dress and shoes for the event!!! YAY!!! Here are my faves that I have found so far:

 

both are from F21..I haven't looked a TON but I am really sold on the right dress =) I LOVE the little ruffle! BUT I love the lace on the left dress...so I may order both and send one back lol!

My dad and I are training for a half together - last weekend we ran 8 miles! it was tough...we started a little later than we should have because it got hot FAST! so this weekend we are going to do 8 again and start a little earlier.  Hopefully that will keep us feeling like we did when we ran 7; which was AMAZING! 

That I am getting so into the Autumn/Halloween/Thanksgiving 'spirit'! I can't wait to share some of the cute projects I have been working on!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

Hi Y'all!!! Busy Busy Busy over here! I have all sorts of crafts and events that I want to share with you. In the meantime, here are the things I'm Loving today!

are these not adorable?! I LOVE LOVE them! 

I started decorating for Autumn...it is the first time EVER that I have bought or made anything to decorate for a season OTHER THAN Christmas.  I'm very excited about it =) 

 

This adorable little filing thingy from Ikea! I LOVE that it is pink =) it livens up my desk area...oh and don't mind the empty candy jar. Jackie won't let me fill it until AFTER her wedding! =) 

 

OOOOO I got a 30% off coupon for Kohl's! AND I have Kohl's cash! Let's see what I find this week =) 

 

This ribbon I found at Walmart. Jackie (yes her again) was looking for a ribbon for a little wedding thing she is doing that reflects HER. she LOVES Sponge Bob Square Pants so I was ecstatic to find this ribbon and so was she =) yay!

 

I'm loving that we are halfway through the week already and that The Husband doesn't have any work this weekend...I'm loving that Football Sundays have officially started.  We hosted a successful one at our house this past Sunday for The Husband's birthday (more on that later).  I'm loving - absolutely adoring - my amazing husband who is starting his company in full force again beginning next week. I'm so proud of him! I'm loving my super sweet friends and my even more super sweet and awesome family!

I'm Lovin' that this past Sunday was Mother's Day

I'm Lovin' that we made a SUPER DELICIOUS breakfast with my mommy

and then had a fun and yummy dinner with The Husband's mommy!

 

I'm loving the trip we took last Friday!

I'm loving that we have a three day weekend coming up!

Before meeting The Husband, I would have definitely considered this girl a YANKEE!  In the last almost 5 years, I have taken a turn for the Southern.

Now don't get me wrong, I can't claim to be a SOUTHERN girl like The Kentucky Priss. But I can proudly say, I'm definitely a little of both!

Therefore, I need this shirt =)

PERFECT running weather!

I'm loving that in the past two days I have already run 4 miles!

I am hoping to run at least 3 on Friday at Relay for Life

I'll be taking today off and maybe doing some strength tomorrow.

WILW - Birthday Edition

So I saw Miss K over at Love, Lipstick, and Pearls did a birthday wish list today. I thought it would be fun to share some of things on my list this year. My birthday is LITERALLY right around the corner: Tminus 9 days! I'll be sharing some of those things AND playing along with WILW. 

 

I'm Loving the new packaging for Urban Decay Eye Shadow Primer Potion.

I really didn't like the tube with the want AT. ALL. It was sort of awkward to use. Thankfully they took a cue from Too Faced and their primer packaging. I fell in love with this BEFORE the Two Faced brand so now that they have switched to a squeeze tube, I'm going back to them.

I'm LOVING the Naked eye shadow sets. 

No I don't have either but after reading tons of blog reviews and seeing the colors ON some lovely ladies, I DEFINITELY would LOVE to own the first edition of the sets. Seriously - LOVE. 

I'm Loving gray shoes! 

 

These are from JCPenney. Before you go hating, I LOVE JCPenney. Everything is affordable and I generally find all sorts of things I want or like. AND these cute little thangs are $22! SCORE! 

I'm Loving this Solia Straightener

I had one for like 6-7 years before it kicked the bucket. it is amazing and I love the heat settings it has. Seriously, this thing is amazing! I wanted one for Christmas and didn't get it. If I don't get one for my birthday, I am buying it myself lol!

I'm Loving that The Husband and my parents are BOTH taking me on little shopping sprees for my birthday presents! EEEEE!! I'm SO excited! I badly need some new tops, maybe a new pair of dress pants, and a skirt or two =) SO excited! I don't know when I am going on said spree BUT I will be sharing with y'all =) 

I'm Loving my DARLING birthday invitations that were sent out yesterday!! Yes, I'm that girl that sends birthday invitations. It is happy =) and besides, who doesn't LOVE getting happy mail =) I can't wait to show them to ya =)

I'm Lovin these cute little heart measuring spoons that a vendor brought into The Husband's work.

He snatched them up and thought they would be perfect for me. He was right! I adore them! They are seriously SO SO adorable!

This weekend I decided I wanted a bigger watch - something a little chunkier. I have three pretty dainty watches. I love them - I feel like they are classy and sophisticated. I want something that is fun and a little more casual =)

I'm Loving that after nearly TWO YEARS, we finally took my wedding present from a dear friend and got it fitted. It is a beautiful watch and I just haven't remembered to take it up to our jeweler.

The guy who gave us the watches, had them engraved with our names and wedding date. So so sweet!

I'm Loving that when I asked The Husband to model his new jeans for me, this is what I got:

I'm Loving that The Hubs special ordered a cake for us to enjoy last night!

I'm Loving that he got me some Skittles - I LOVE skittles!!!

I can't wait to take them to the movies =) Yes - I'm the person who smuggles in snacks and goodies.

I'm Loving my amazing, super sweet husband. He makes me laugh and smile and we always have such an amazing time together -no matter what we are doing.

oh and BTW - to get this really nice smile out of him on the fourth try last night, I stood next to him and said "BBOOOOBBBIIIEEESSSS" - yes ladies, it is that simple hahaha =)
