My Weekend

Well to be honest it was all kind of a blur.  A LOT happened and we were very active.
Saturday morning I woke up at 5:30 AM to eat and prepare for our 9 mile run.  When I say 'our' I mean me, Christina and her fiance. I met them at her fiance's house by 6:45 and we began the first 6 miles of our run in the 45 degree weather. BRRRR!!! We timed the 6 miles PERFECTLY, and ended up at the 5k starting line with 5 minutes to spare.  I took my sweatshirt off and handed it to my mom -- who came to support us! =)
As SOON as I crossed the  finish line my mom told me my sister was trying to get a hold of me.  I called her back and that is when I heard the wonderful news I shared with you all yesterday -- my baby sister is getting married!
Afterwards, Mom and I met up with J and my Dad.  We went to breakfast and then out to Tampa to the Holiday Gift Exchange.  I got some GREAT ideas for holiday decor and DIY gifts.  A couple purchases were made but my favorite part were the wine slushies! They were handing out free samples and I definitely had my fair share! They were SO good!  We wandered around checking out the tables and laughing at some of the items being sold and some of the people wandering around.
After leaving, we decided we would LOVE to see a movie -- so we went and saw Red.  If you want a movie that is highly entertaining, this is your movie.  I thoroughly enjoyed pretty much every aspect of it - from the casting to the acting to the dialogue and storyline.  And, John Malkovich was the PERFECT cast for the character he played.  I loved it!
By the time we returned home, I was super tired -- like EMOTIONALLY tired. J and I just hung out at the house watching Season 1 of How I Met Your Mother.
Sunday I went over to my parent's house to hang out with my sister and look at all things wedding with her online to start getting some ideas while J went to the coast and went shooting with his dad and some close friends.  He came home later than anticipated and we kinda vegged on the couch before we had to get started with the week again.
Last night Jess and Doug picked their date and their colors.  Let the planning begin! AND she asked me to be her Matron of Honor! Yay Me! =)

Yey that you get to be in her wedding! How exciting and fun! I don't have a sister so I don't get to ever experience that type of bonding! And I so want to watch HIMYM from the beginning!
