Three Years Ago Today

I can't believe how fast time flies now that I am an adult! It's seriously SO crazy!

Three years ago today, an amazing man proposed to me.

My gorgeous engagement ring. The Husband did such an amazing job picking it out all by his lonesome!

So much has happened in the three years since I said 'yes'. 

We planned an amazing wedding.

We got married.

We have struggled financially.

We have overcome financial struggles.

We found The Husband a new job. 

We have both been promoted.

We have bought a house.

The MOST important aspect of all those statements is WE. 

WE have done all these things together; as a couple. 

I have loved every moment - the ups, the downs, the good, the bad. 

I'll never forget the day he proposed and asked me to be his wife.

The husband and I have been married for almost 2 years! WHERE has the time GONE?!

I have decided to link up with CMae over at Happiness Is... She just got engaged to her Mr. Wonderful and I am just so thrilled for her!

What girl DOESN'T LOVE showing off her ring?! I know I love to =)

 

 

My husband hand picked everything about the ring, including the setting and the diamonds. It is so perfect! The only thing I would have been worried about is the sizing since my fingers are SO small -- like size 4.25 small!!! He magically got the size right - I think he stole a ring I had that fit that finger lol...I still don't know how he got the sizing right. =) I just LOVE what he decided I should have - we never went ring shopping so it was a complete surprise =) You can read our engagement story here.

A lot of girls ask what I do with my ring when I am not wearing it. I NEVER take my rings off except to put on lotions. When I do that, the rings sit right in front of me. I don't take them off to shower or sleep - not ever! Ok ok - I DO take them off when I take them to get cleaned or polished. =) When that happens they are safely in the hands of our jeweler. I figure the more often I take the rings off, the more likely I am to lose them =)

Wedding Wednesday

As I mentioned yesterday, I want to start featuring engagement and wedding pictures from some of you lovely bloggers as well as some of my friends. Today is the first week! I have to say I am very excited about doing this -- I just LOVE love and seeing it captured on film is just THE best thing to me!

Today's feature is my sister, Jessica and her groom-to-be, Doug. They are getting married in something like 87 days! I am so excited for them. I wanted to feature their engagement pictures.  These were taken in December at the ceremony site and around my parent's neighborhood.  I hope you enjoy!

      

My cousin is getting married on Saturday! I am so excited for her and her sweet husband-to-be! I can't wait to see how she looks! I know she is going to be a beautiful bride!
