J & A Chronicles: Wedding Day Pt 2
: : Bridesmaids & Groomsmen : :

We had planned on taking a majority of our pictures BEFORE the ceremony.  I really wanted to do a First Look but J was completely 100% against it.  I'm sure it would  have been a beautiful moment for us but I really loved seeing him for the first time when I walked down the aisle. More on that later =)
The groomsmen were already with J, so he took pictures with them first.

Since the bridesmaids were already with me, I took pictures with them first. This first picture represents how amazing my girls were to me all day.  They made sure everything looked beautiful - from my dress to my veil to my makeup and hair. Them worrying about these things helped ME to not worry or stress which made for a smooth day =)

The groomsmen came over in J's truck to take pictures with me.
The girls took the truck back to take pictures with the groom.

Somewhere in the midst of it all, the parents showed up to take pictures with me and J.

After all these pictures and people swapping, there was still about an hour left before the ceremony.  The groomsmen went back over to where J was and took pictures with the bridesmaids.

Meanwhile, Oscar (one of the photogs and good friends) and I went walking around to take some bridal pictures.

While walking around, I ran into a couple guests.  I learned that a lot of people try to NOT see the bride before her grand entrance at the ceremony.  I was so excited I couldn't help myself and was walking up to people that I saw before the ceremony to hug them. I was ready to get married and so greatful that they made the trip to see us. I later found out that the people I had seen before the wedding were so touched by the fact that I didn't ignore them and that I embraced them as family. awww!! don't shun any guests EVEN if they weren't supposed to see you before the wedding.
Right before the ceremony started, my mom and bridesmaids and I all shared a quick toast and glass of wine.

Gorgeous! We didn't see each other before the ceremony either, and I am so thankful. There was nothing like seeing him for the first time when I walked down the aisle! Hope y'all had a fabulous weekend! xoxo
